The rise of the unconference

An unconference is a participant-driven meeting.

The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees, sponsored presentations, and organisation.

This film, from TheInformationDaily.TV takes a look at the rise of the unconference, with a spotlight on LocalGovCamp.

About Mark Braggins

I’m interested in lots of things, in no particular order: society, politics, public services, open data, technology (and what you can do with it), wildlife, photography, the countryside, and long distance walking.
