Health: Funding to develop digital services

The Department of Health has announced that local NHS organisations could be awarded funding to develop new digital services that improve patient care and can be used to share information more easily across the NHS .

The information sharing challenge fund (ISCF) is open to eligible NHS organisations. The fund is looking for innovative ideas that change the way information is currently used and shared between different organisations. NHS staff, clinicians and patients can access information when they need to and patients can be involved in decisions about their care if they wish to be.

The prospectus is available to view here, and full details are available on the Department of Health web site.
